IRON OXIDE RED 82%-86% SPANISH (Ferric) (FEOXCL) is also known as Hematite. RED IRON OXIDE is the stable form of iron and no matter what form is added to a glaze or clay, firing converts it into Fe2O3. Iron is both a colorant and a flux. We stock two strenghts of IRON OXIDE RED. One is IRON OXIDE RED (Clay Body) with 86% Fe. The other is IRON OXIDE RED (Glaze Body) with 99% Fe.
