Terra Cotta Cone 04 to 5 is a robust clay body that offers versatility for various ceramic projects. Similar to RED EARTHENWARE (RL6) at cone 04, Terra Cotta fires to a lighter shade, transitioning to a rich chocolate brown at cone 5. It features quality grog and fire clay, making it particularly suitable for large sculptural pieces due to its rugged durability. While it performs well at higher temperatures, note that it may not be waterproof at cone 04, as glazes may craze. Ideal for both artistic and functional applications, Terra Cotta provides both strength and aesthetic appeal.
