Spectrum Underglazes

are used when you want to paint some kind of image, using different colors that dont run. Traditionally used on greenware, these can be used on bisque, and can be used at almost any temperature range. Two to three coats are required for opaque, vibrant colors. The samples shown are at Cone 05, but Underglazes can be fired from low-temperature (cone 06/04} to high-temperature (cone 9/10). Some color variation will occur at higher temperatures and also different clear coats and thicknesses can affect the hue of each Underglaze. These Underglazes are non-toxic when covered with a clear glaze.
