North Star’s 18” portable slabroller fits on any kitchen table. The double roller system cuts down on warping and the gear driven rollers make it easy to use. The table weighs 20lbs and the slabroller 25lbs. And breaks down for easy storage in that closet.
Introducing The PortaRoller A real slab roller designed to be easily moved from one teaching area to another by one person. The entire unit breaks into two units to be moved and each weighs less than 25 pounds. There are no shims, boards, clamps, bolts or cables. No tools are required to tear down in one location or set up in the next. All that is required to use the PortaRoller I some clay and a smooth, clean table surface 48" long by 22" wide. You and your students can use the PortaRoller to easily make clay slabs up to 16 inches wide, as thin as 1/16 as thick as 2%" and as long as you want.
